Once your DBS form has been completed, documents have been provided and the DBS has been sent off to the Disclosure and Barring Service. You will receive a DBS reference number which allows you to track the progress of it online.
DBS certificate returned
- If there are no entries on your certificate, we will update your profile.
- You will receive a text message that you can now book shifts.
- If there are any entries on your certificate, we cannot update your profile.
- If we cannot update your profile, we will ask you for a full copy of your DBS certificate before we can clear you to work

What is the DBS Update Service?
- An online subscription service for £16 per year, payable to the DBS Authority
- Keeps your DBS certificate up to date every year, when you register within 30 days of your DBS certificate being issued.
- You must renew your subscription yearly to remain active on the service and ensure it is at the correct level for your role
