As a Bank (formerly Bank Only) applicant, you'll have the flexibility to work at any of our Partner Trusts or Clients. As such, we have to ensure you meet specific criteria.
Qualifications and Training
To apply, you should have at least one of the following:
- Care Certificate issued by an NHS Trust of NHSP approved provider
- QCF/NVQ Level 2 or above Diploma in Health & Social Care
- QCF Level 3 or above Diploma in Health
- Apprenticeship Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care
- Degree or Diploma in nursing (only if you currently do not have an active NMC registration)
If you don't have any of these qualifications, you can still apply if:
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience in the last 2 years
- Your experience must be in the relevant speciality
- It must be in a hospital or hospice setting (private, NHS or Armed Forces).
- We may also accept care home or prison experience for Mental Health roles
- Your experience should be within the UK
- Be currently studying Nursing in the relevant speciality
- You must have completed a minimum 12 weeks of hands-on clinical placements (not as an observer) in the area you are applying for
Please note, all NVQs must have been completed since 2011
Experience
You must either:
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience in the UK as a Care Support Worker with relevant qualifications or 12 months experience (within the last 2 years) without qualifications
- Your experience must be in the relevant speciality
- It must be in a hospital or hospice setting (private, NHS or Armed Forces).
- We may also accept care home or prison experience for Mental Health roles
- Your experience should be within the UK
- Be currently studying Nursing in the relevant speciality
- You must have completed a minimum 12 weeks of hands-on clinical placements (not as an observer) in the area you are applying for
