I'm a Registered Midwife. What training do you need to see evidence of? What do you accept as evidence?

As a Registered Midwife, you need to show us evidence that you have completed the following training within the last 12 months:

  • Neonatal Resuscitation (Practical)
  • Cardiotocography (CTG)

If you don't send us your certificates for this training, you will not be able to complete your application to join us.

If you are a Referral applicant, please email your evidence to BEOnboarding@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk.

If you are a Bank applicant, please email your evidence to Clinical.Recruitment.Team@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk. You will need to include your name and application number (if possible) and send it from the email address you used to apply to join us.

If you are an existing Bank Member, please email your evidence to classroomtraining@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk.

Evidence we can accept includes training certificates which:

  • Are either a PDF format or a screenshot (we can't accept photos of documents or screens)
  • Have either the NHS logo or the training provider’s logo
  • Show a date of completion
  • Have your name on the certificate
  • Have the trainer's name on the certificate or have been signed by them
  • State CTG and Neonatal Resuscitation is included

e-LH elearning for Healthcare NHS Health Education England

We can accept this if evidence of the summarised 'Activity Record' is provided where all Fetal Monitoring courses (33 of them) are shown as completed.

K2 Perinatal training Programme

This can be accepted for Intrapartum Cardiotocography (CTG) only. This is to be completed online

NHS Trust  ( Any)

Any certification provided by an NHS Trust is acceptable, it must state completed sessions, date and that it was a practical session

NLS

Evidence of Neonatal Resus can be updated for a year only. Must be completed yearly cannot update for 4 years as stated on some certificates.

PROMT

Must include evidence of content stating NNR/CTG was included

 

If you can't provide your certificates, we may be able to accept confirmation from the trainer.
