I'm an applicant but I can't find my Line Manager in the application form.

As part of your application to join NHSP, you'll be asked for a line manager who can vouch for your professional ability. Please speak to this line manager before applying to ensure:

  • They are happy to authorise your application,
  • They are able to authorise your application based on your Partner Trust or Client's guidelines.


If you can't find the correct line manager when you're completing your application, please contact your local Client Services team.

  • You can do this by using the 'Need More Help?' Contact Form below and using the categories 'Joining NHSP' and 'How Do I Join?'.
  • You can also find details of your local Client Services team here.
Please include your application number if possible.


Within 3-5 days, we will update your application with your correct line manager.

  • This line manager will automatically receive an email from us when you submit your form. This email will ask them to vouch for your ability to perform in the areas you put in your application
