- If information on your DBS form needs clarification, we will email you asking for this information
A Disclosure and Barring Service tracking 'E-number' is emailed to you
An 'E-number' is generated when the Disclosure and Barring Service acknowledge they have received your application. Please check your email, junk and spam inboxes for an email for use with this tracking number.
- You can only track the status of your DBS application with your 'E-number' by using the DBS Tracking Service
- If you're tracking your application and your application has been at 'Stage 4' for more than 60 days, please contact the Disclosure and Barring Service by calling 03000 300 190.
- 'Stage 4' delays are often caused by police force backlogs, further checks on your record, or a complex address history. Unfortunately, this means our NHS Professionals teams cannot speed these up for you.
