Please Note :
After you have booked on Immediate Life Support training:
- You will receive an email at least 24 days before the training event date to confirm your delivery address, so that the UK Resus Council can post you the ILS booklet.
- If the address details are not submitted in time, you may be asked to rebook onto a future training event.
- This ILS booklet needs to be read and completed prior to the training event.
- Please ensure you bring the booklet with you to your training event.

| Why do we offer this module? |
This course is required by the Core Skills Training Framework (England). It meets the following requirement:
Level 3 – Immediate Life Support Staff with direct clinical care responsibilities including all qualified healthcare professionals:
- Registered healthcare professionals with a responsibility to participate as part of the adult resuscitation team should undertake adult immediate life support training
- Registered healthcare professionals involved in administering rapid tranquillisation in the care of patients with disturbed mental functioning should undertake adult immediate life support training.

| Training Attendance and ID identification |
Please bring with you:
- Photo identification - this can be either Passport, ID Card or Driving License. This needs to be a an original document with your picture and not a copy of your document.
Attendance on time is important:
- Make sure you allow time to travel to the venue, including checking car park on-site facilities, or nearby so that you arrive on time. If you travel by public transport, please check the transport timetable and plan accordingly.
Anyone that arrives 15 minutes after the start time will not be able to take part in the course.

| How frequently should refresher training take place? | As per the Core Skills Training Framework (England) refresher training should take place every year. |

| What does the module cover? | NHSP only offer ILS courses from providers who are accredited Resuscitation Council UK approved Course Centres.
