How can I find my worked shifts?
Once you have worked a shift, your manager will authorise it and make any changes needed. Once authorised, your shift will appear under ‘My Timesheets’ in My:Bank. You can then use the timesheet search function to filter your timesheets by date and status. Your shift can have any of the following statuses:
- Awaiting Authorisation - these shifts are waiting for the appropriate person within our Partner Trust or Client to approve them. For more information, please see our article My shift has not yet been authorised by the ward and I am waiting for them to release it. What can I do?
- Awaiting Release - these shifts have been approved by our Partner Trust or Client but have not yet been released by you.
- Released - these are shifts you have released for payment but have not yet been sent to payroll for payment
- Processed for Payment - these shifts have been paid or are due to be paid within the next two weeks
How do I release any shifts marked as 'Awaiting Release'?
Before releasing a shift, please check all the details on the timesheet. If your shift is correct, please click the green 'Release' button to send your shift for payment.
If they are incorrect, please click ‘Query’ and write a short but clear reason why you think it’s not correct. This will be sent to your manager to decide if the shift needs changing.
- Do not use the 'Query' button to raise other queries such as:
- Pay rates
- Gross pay
- Holiday accrual, or
- A general employment query
- For pay and other general questions, please use the 'Need More Help?' Contact Form below this and every article.
When will I be paid?
You will get paid on a Friday if you release your shift before midnight the previous Sunday. For example, a shift released before midnight on Sunday 10 July 2022 is paid on Friday 15 July 2022.
- On occasion, the processing of your shifts for payment may be delayed until Monday morning instead of Sunday night by our payroll provider SBS. If this happens, all timesheets released before the payroll run - including those released on Monday morning - may be included in that week's payroll.
- If you wish to avoid any accidental early payments, please delay releasing any timesheets until Monday afternoon.
- The deadline date may also change during Bank Holidays. We will email you with details of any changes and details will also appear on the login page of My:Bank.
- Your first week’s pay can take a couple of weeks to be paid. If you have not received your first week’s pay within 2 weeks, please contact us using the 'Need More Help?' Contact Form below this article.
