How do I register my NHSP:Online account?

If you are trying to access your online training or are a Trust Authoriser, you do not need to register. Please see our article How do I login to NHSP:Online for the first time?

1) Visit https://www.nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk/joining-nhsp and choose your Staff Group. Then, click 'Discover More'



2) If you already work on a permanent contract for one of our Partner Trusts or Clients, click 'Join Now'

3) Enter the email address you currently use for your Join:Bank account and click 'Send Code'. 

4) Check your email inbox and junk/spam folders for an email from us. This email will include a one-time security code.

5) Enter the code into the 'Verification code' box and click 'Verify Code'.

• Your code will expire in 15 minutes.
• To request another code, click 'Send New Code' and check your emails again for a new code.

6) Choose a new password and enter your personal details.

• All fields are mandatory. You must complete all of them before you can register.

Your password needs to meet certain criteria. Please see our article What do I need to include in my password?

7) Choose which method of 2-Factor Verification you would prefer

• This is an additional layer of security to protect your data.
• Please choose between receiving an email, text message or using an Authenticator app on your phone
• After choosing your method, you will be sent a code so we can ensure it is correctly set-up for you

8) Verify your email.

• This is an additional layer of security to protect your data.
• Please enter your email address and click 'Send Code'
• Check your email inbox and junk/spam folders for an email from us.
  • This email will include a one-time security code.

9) Enter the code sent by your chosen method and click 'Verify Code'

After you click 'Verify Code' you will see the screen below. Please click 'Continue'.

10) Select 'Login to NHSP:Online' and click 'Continue'
