If you have a certificate on the DBS Update Service and have previously used it to renew your DBS with us:
- Please check you are still registered with the Update Service and that your certificate is still appropriate for your role.
- You no longer need to submit your certificate. Instead we will conduct an online DBS check for you and there is no further action you need to take.
- If you do not renew your registration with the Update Service before it ends or it is not longer appropriate for your role, you may need to apply for a new DBS check and register for the Update Service again.
