Any holiday not taken by the ‘Take By’ date will expire. Any expired holiday can’t be taken. You can usually only book a holiday shift if the hours you’ve earned are equal to or more than your average shift length.
We understand you may be left with holiday hours totalling less than your average shift length. A month before your 'Take By' date, you can book holiday shifts shorter than your average shift length. When you book a holiday shift in this way, a box will appear with the number of hours due before any holiday year end dates. Simply tick the box and submit the holiday for your chosen date.
To see your ‘Take By’ dates, log into the Holiday Booking system through My:Bank. Your username and password for the holiday booking system will be the same as what you use to login to My:Bank.

You will then see how much holiday you have earned on each shift in a list below that with the relevant ‘Take By’ date.
