How can I add an additional method of MFA verification to my NHSP:Online account?

If you are an existing Bank Member or Trust User and are logging in for the first time, please see our article How do I login to NHSP:Online for the first time?

1) Login to NHSP:Online

• For information on how to do this, please see our article How do I login to my NHSP:Online account?

2) To add a verification method, choose 'Edit security settings' and click 'Continue'

3) Choose 'Add a new verification method' and click 'Continue' 

4) Choose your preferred verification method and click 'Continue'

• You can choose between Email, SMS, or the Authenticator app
• You will not see any active verification methods as options in this window

5) Enter your details and click 'Send Code'

6) Check whichever method your chose for your one-time security code.

• If you have requested verification through email, please check your junk junk/spam folders as well as your inbox

7) Enter the code into the 'Verification code' box and click 'Verify Code'.

• Your code will expire in 15 minutes.
• To request another code, click 'Send New Code' and check your emails again for a new code.

8) Click 'Continue' to login

• If you want to change your method of verification, please log back out and follow the steps in our article How can I change my method of MFA verification on my NHSP:Online account?
• If you wish to add another method of verification, please logout of the portal and restart this process.
