If you are on a Substantive agreement, you do not have to complete additional training on top of training supplied by your Trust or Client Service.
Currently, we don't have any practical events for Non-Clinical Bank Members - all training is through e-learning.

Receiving email with booking link
- Once you have completed your application and moved into the onboarding process you'll receive an automatic email. This email includes:
- A link to book your training, and
- Your enrolment letter.
Book practical training through our booking portal
For the best experience we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer.
Click on 'Sign In' in the top right of the screen
- Login to the booking portal using your JoinBank login details
- These are the same log-in details you used when applying to join NHS Professionals.
- If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Forgot Your Password’ and you will receive an email to reset this.
- Remember to check your junk mail as well as your regular inbox.
What Do I Need To Book?
- The training you need to book will be outlined in your e-mail.
- The courses you can choose from include:
- NHSP Mandatory Training – Resuscitation and Patient Moving and Handling (1 day
- NHSP Mandatory Training – Mental Health – Conflict Resolution (1 day)
- If you have a mental health assignment code, please book the both the 'Resuscitation and Patient Moving and Handling (1 day)' AND 'Mental Health – Conflict Resolution (1 day)' courses.
- All other clinical assignment codes must book the 'Resuscitation and Patient Moving and Handling (1 day)' course.
- There are also the below courses for specific Partner Trusts and Clients:
- 1 day Mandatory Paediatric Training
- This is currently only available in Alder Hey and Sheffield Childrens'.
- If you cannot attend, please book onto your nearest Acute event while we work on providing more Paediatric events.
- 1 day Mandatory Community Training
- This is currently only available in Central Surrey and Hertfordshire Community.
- If you cannot attend, please book onto your nearest Acute event while we work on providing more Community events.
How do I find courses?
- To find your relevant course(s), use the search function on the top of the screen.
- You can search by venue or by course.
- Once you have scrolled through the page to look at the available dates and locations of the course, select the date and location that is most suitable for you.
- Once booked, you'll receive an automated email with full details.
- Please check your junk and spam email boxes.
- Dates are added to the portal to cover the next 3 months.
- If you can't find a free space on a course, please keep checking as events will become available.
I've booked the wrong course. What should I do?
- You may not be able to work until you attend the correct course so please take extra care when booking.
- If you book the incorrect course, click on 'My Bookings'.
- From there please click 'Cancel' next to the incorrect course then re-book into the right one.
