Receiving email with booking link
- Once you have completed your application and moved into the onboarding process you'll receive an automatic email. This email includes:
- A link to book your training, and
- Your Welcome Email
Book practical training through our booking portal
For the best experience we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer.
Click on 'Sign In' in the top right of the screen
- Login to the booking portal using your Join:Bank login details
- These are the same log-in details you used when applying to join NHS Professionals.
- If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Forgot Your Password’ and you will receive an email to reset this.
- Remember to check your junk mail as well as your regular inbox.
What Do I Need To Book?
- The training you need to book will be outlined in your e-mail.
- The courses you can choose from include:
- 1-Day *New starters (EXCLUDING paediatrics, all doctors and mental health nurses)* BLS / Patient moving and handling / Conflict resolution
- 1-Day *New starters paediatrics* Paediatric BLS / Patient moving and handling / Conflict resolution
- 1-Day *New starters AND refresher mental health workers* Breakaway
- 1-Day *New starters AND refresher doctors and mental health nurses ONLY* Immediate Life Support Training (ILS)
- 0.5 Day *New starter mental health nurses and doctors* Patient Moving and Handling / Conflict Resolution

How do I find courses?
- To find your relevant course(s), use the search function on the top of the screen.
- You can search by venue or by course.
- Once you have scrolled through the page to look at the available dates and locations of the course, select the date and location that is most suitable for you.
- If you are a Referral Bank Member, please book your training within the first 2 weeks of your documents being approved by us
- In order to get the best choice of venues and dates, please book as soon as possible as spaces are limited
- If you have not booked your own Practical Mandatory Training, our team will pro-actively book you in where possible - please check your email regularly for details.
- Once booked, you'll receive an automated email with full details.
- Please check your junk and spam email boxes.
- Dates are added to the portal to cover the next 3 months.
- If there are no sessions open to book right now, please check again at a later date. All available sessions are shown within the booking portal with new sessions added to our systems on a weekly basis. As soon as a new session is available you will be able to see it on the booking portal.
I've booked the wrong course. What should I do?
- You may not be able to work until you attend the correct course so please take extra care when booking.
- If you book the incorrect course, click on 'My Bookings'.
- From there please click 'Cancel' next to the incorrect course then re-book into the right one.
