I am a Referral Applicant. What happens when I apply?

As a Referral applicant, you will already be known to one of our Partner Trusts or Clients in a professional capacity. To be known to one of our Partner Trusts of Clients you:

  • Have worked with them within the last 6 months
  • Be known in a professional capacity to a Senior Manager within the last 6 months

You will need to complete some of your compliance tasks - such as DBS checks, training and occupational health - whilst you work with us as long as they are completed within the first 4 weeks. Below is a step-by-step guide of how to go through the application process through to booking shifts.

1) Complete the application form

2) Prepare documents that we need to see

3) Upload documents to Trust ID

4) Provide documents to onsite team

5) You receive an email

This email will confirm your application has been sent to be enrolled

You will usually receive your uniform within 5 to 10 working days from completion. For more information, please see our article How do I get my NHS Professionals uniform?

At this point you can book shifts. However, if you do not complete all of your compliance tasks within 4 weeks of your application being completed, you may be stopped from working until all of your tasks are completed. These tasks include:

DBS form

Please complete this within your first 2 weeks

Occupational Health Questionnaire

Please complete this within your first 2 weeks

Practical Mandatory Training

Please book your Practical Training within your first 2 weeks

Online Mandatory Training

Please complete your Online Training within your first 2 weeks

Partner Trust or Client Specific Mandatory Training

In some Partner Trusts or Clients, this may need to be completed before you can book shifts.
