Complete DBS Submission
You can complete your DBS form through your
Join:Bank profile.
Please ensure you click 'No' on the question 'Do you have an existing certificate you would like to use for this role?'
Submit Supporting Documents
After you have completed the online DBS form, you will receive an email from TrustID with a link.
Use this link to upload your required supporting documents.
Important: If you don't see the email, please check your junk and spam folders.

Complete an identity verification appointment
After you submit your documents via TrustID, we will review your documents within two working days.
Once reviewed, one of the following 3 things could happen:
If a positive TrustID response has been received, we will process your documents and submit to DBS.
If TrustID documents require further review you will be invited to attend an IDVT, (Online Digital Video appointment.
If a negative TrustID is received, you will be invited for F2F document verification at your local NHSP office.
Appointment Requirements
Please ensure you have the following ready for your digital appointment:
Technology: Access to Microsoft Teams on a device with a working camera and microphone.
Preparation: Join on time and be in a quiet space where you can complete the appointment without interruptions.
What to Bring: You must bring the original versions of the documents that you uploaded using TrustID to the appointment.
Important: If you do not present the correct original documents, your appointment will have to be rescheduled, which will delay your DBS application.

Documents submitted to Disclosure and Barring Service
You can track the status of your DBS application with the 'E-number' we will email you, by using the DBS Tracking Service.

DBS check returned - Join the Update Service!
If there are no entries on your certificate, you will receive a text message once you can continue to book shifts.
Once you receive your certificate, you can join the Update Service to save time at your annual renewal.
