I need to renew my DBS but am not on the Update Service. What do I need to do?

 
Check your DBS expiry date through My:Bank

  • You can find out when your DBS is due by looking at your My:Bank profile under 'Compliance Information'. For more information, see our article When does my DBS expire?
  • If you have not received an email from us, 

 


Complete DBS Submission

You can complete your DBS form through your Join:Bank profile. Please ensure you click 'No' on the question 'Do you have an existing certificate you would like to use for this role?'

Provide documents to onsite team

You need to bring relevant documents to your local office. If you do not bring the correct documents, you will have to come back again. This will delay your DBS application. You can find the details of your local team here

Documents submitted to Disclosure and Barring Service

You can track the status of your DBS application with the 'E-number' we will email you, by using the DBS Tracking Service. For more information, see I'm not on the Update Service. Can I track my application?

 


DBS check returned - Join the Update Service!

If there are no entries on your certificate, you will receive a text message once you can continue to book shifts. Once you receive your certificate, you can join the Update Service to save time at your annual renewal. For more information, see our article How will I know when my DBS renewal check is complete? or visit the Government's website.
